The reality remains that if you adopt AI into your workforce, not replace your workforce with AI, use AI to help with your work - you can do a lot more and faster too.

I just downloaded deepseek on my Win 11 PC - Copilot is obviously more integrated but its not that bad at all. Copilot is very limited in the boxes Microsoft built into it but it is a great tool for average people that only need to interact with AI occasionally to search the internet.

There are two types of engineers/companies:

1. Clueless: AI is the future, grant it access to everything and let it do everything, from management to execution. These engineers will be unemployed and companies go bankrupt. This is the majority of the market right now, look what is happening to them from companies to the products themselves.

2. Smart: AI is a tool to improve my work so I can spend less time doing the boring stuff and more time learning and doing cool stuff. This is the minority and the only companies thriving right now.

It is an assistant. It assists creative people. AI is not and can not be creative. It can help 1 person do the work of many.

You might be missing the point of science.

It's ultimately an endeavor of finding testable descriptions of the world in the face of being fallible. It's not about the "why". It's about "how" the world is. No faith required. "Why" the world is is a philosophical question and perhaps a religious one. But that has nothing to do with testable theories.

Any scientific theory gains credibility by providing ways to test it. Each such experiment that fails to disprove the theory increases confidence in the theory's validity. There is no faith required for any of that and no god either. If you can predict that conditions A and B lead to C happening, and I can try it and see that indeed C is happening, then you have science going on, without any faith.

I think you misunderstood science today.

Scientists only do safe experiments that will 100% verify the findings they are paid to attain.

Nobody will do peers review of whatever study unless its controversial- in which case they will come out of the woodwork to "discover" how correct/not THAT wrong their peers were/are still.

It is nonsense that we consider what comes from such a system to be "knowledge" - Modern science is many things, faithless science validating experimental theory -> that is not a real thing.
