Why would it be more beneficial?

Alternative headline:

Americans lose on average 16 cents to phone scams in the last year.

Yes, you can play with statistics that way if you want to sweep the problem under the carpet. If only the victims could get their potentially life changing losses amortized over the country's population somehow.

Chicago citizens were on average murdered .0002 times in the last year

It seems remarkably low, especially since it's supposedly the victims reporting to the FBI "some sort of phishing scam", (just phone scams, or including email etc?) "A whopping 26,379 people."

Australians are expected to report over $532 million (AUD) in losses in 2019: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/news/record-losses-expected-as-...

I sync them to my laptop and keep them there for 30 days. Within those 30 days, I either post them in Whatsapp/Facebook stories or send them to family/friends. Then, I just delete them.

Skype was 1 of the 100+ teams.

By law, in the Netherlands, employees are allowed to reduce their work hours. Allegedly, unless there is a clear, critical business need for you to work the entire week, the company is not allowed to deny your request.

I would love to work fewer days per week, and use the extra time to focus more on my personal development & side projects. However, at my current level of discipline, I'd be fooling myself if I said I would use the time productively.

That said, the idea is still very tempting and I intend to do it in the next couple of years. In the meantime, I fully enjoy all of my 24 PTO days and make use of our policy for getting 5 extra unpaid days without justification.

The most common cases are people working 4 days every, or every other week. This seems to be popular with new parents.

I know of only one instance of a 3-day work week. The guy, a developer, is using the other days for graduate studies.

I'd like to merge Netherland law into Washington state law, this sounds like an excellent idea.

Have you considered running for Washington state office?

Give yourself some credit, you might not use it productively initially, but once that was out of your system...

There are no systems running Windows 10X in production yet.

Can't tell if you're trolling, so in case you've confused others.

Its a shame this amazing reference is being downvoted.

Hopefully Windows 10X puts an end to the "10x developer" meme.

For twitter you can disable JS and it will fallback to a ""degraded"" (a.k.a. Much faster & usable) experience.

It seems to fall back to the old mobile website for me? This is after clicking the fallback prompt.

Yes, but you have to click past an annoying prompt[1] every time. Does that not happen for you?

Once the cookie's set, I tend to go straight through.

That annoyance is considerably less than all the others a full-JS Twitter imposes. Including the motherlovin' account-creation nag that shows up all the motherlovin' time.

One click through at entry rather than random annoyance in the midst of reading? A net win. And an incredibly sad commentary on the state of the Web.

Absolutely!

For a moment I thought it was Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, and was a bit confused.

It seems you picked a solution and are now looking for a problem. If you have to ask these questions, don't have problems with your current setup and perhaps switching is not really necessary. The better questions to ask are:

- What are the shortcoming of your current site that would require you to have your own proprietary solution?

- Would the cost of implementing the solution be less than the benefit of the move?

Thanks. It makes sense.

I'll suggest these questions to be asked.
