Me too.. I decided to use Chat GPT to summarise the article!

I’m so bored of chatgpt that when I ask it to summarize something, I stop reading before it finishes generating

Did the Jetsons predict the future or did we just take inspiration from it?

Neither.

Davos have been pushing individual carbon trackers. "reached carbon quota.. access to flight/bus/car..denied!

Somewhat expected. These social media apps rely on people using them. The time limit is a reminder that you are using the app for too long, it's bad for business!

Average revenue per passenger improved by 5.2 per cent from €69.0 in F20 to €72.5 in F21. Average ticket revenue per passenger decline from €37.7 in F20 to €32.0 in F21 (by 15.2 per cent), while average ancillary revenue per passenger increased to €40.6 from €31.3 (by 29.6 per cent)

Wizz air annual report.

Lots of people spending a little adds up. Poundland for example, small amounts of revenue for each individual product, but millions of transactions add up.

Perhaps the landing slots are more valuable. If airlines don't use allocated slots they could lose them. Might as well get some small amount of income. Upsell on the flight. Just a thought.

Wizzair’s ancillary sales of 1.2 billion Euro accounted for 45% of total revenues(2017).

Ancillary services are considered those beyond the transportation of the passenger from origin to destination. Airlines provide various services and engage in other activities connected with its core air passenger service, including non-flight scheduled services, internet-related services, and the in-flight sale of beverages, food, and merchandise.

Or will we live in a world where the computer is always right.

It's unreal the number of times a support person has said they "can't" do something because they don't have an option to do it in their user interface. And like, I understand that they don't have the authority to do it and it's not their fault, but someone at HQ basically decided that something was too expensive or inconvenient for the company and made it quite literally "not an option" and it just becomes a law of the universe that the customer can't get that remedy.

Gibraltar surge in covid cases and is cancelling lots of events, but has 100% vaccination rate. No stopping restrictions and cases even with 100% vaccination rate.

Where do you get the information from that they are cancelling lots of events? As far as I can tell they are only giving out guidelines how you should behave if you want to have a party but no rules that prevent any event[0]. Also they only cancelled official events meaning events organized by the government: "Given the exponential rise in the number of cases, the Government, for example, intends to cancel a number of its own functions including official Christmas parties, official receptions and similar gatherings." from [1]
