One of the advisors in the 100% remote company I just started in recommended me to read into Nozbe. It's an app for project management but that's not what I want to highlight.
The company has been working on effective asynchronous processes since their beginnings (over 10 years ago) and they've written an open source book about it called "No office". They also have a podcast and a blog and I'm looking into them for reference as I build a proposal on how to optimize communication logistics and information management inside the company.
