anecdotal, but me too. purchased bose qc35s 3 months ago and started having tinnitus most nights for about a month now. never suffered from tinnitus before.
Now we’ve got to listen to his Orch OR theory about how microtubules are quantum computers of consciousness! as a biologist I’m so excited for this theory to catch on and refine our notions of neuronal information processing beyond synaptic theory.
Generally, there' a tradeoff between quality vs size (mostly through energy: processing and sending more data needs more energy, which needs a bigger power source).
Presumably they also picked some reasonably available and suitable parts and tried what they can get, so there might be room for improvements now there is a baseline established.
everybody on 4chan /sci was talking about this a few weeks ago. seems like you can get incredible thrust from solar wind that increases proportionally with radius from the sun for constant acceleration, all with a small standard electric motor. upon cursory investigation by me it seems sorta legit. needs testing beyond earth orbit but ground tests are reported to be successful.
check out Orch OR theory developed by Roger Penrose and an anesthesiologist from Arizona. Basically they think microtubule proteins create electron resonances that can reach a threshold time to produce consciousness that wouldn’t be available to most electrons outside the system. I’ve been researching this topic during quarantine so i’m happy to answer any questions or supply some cool facts.
