My favorite part of game is also the things. I am so glad I get to experience game and then share my totally authentic and uncompensated opinion with fellow game enthusiasts on world wide web.
Missing from this conversation is the use of drones as weapons. We’re used to thinking of drones as tools of government surveillance. But ISIS and Iranian backed groups have been using off-the-shelf drones with 3d printed parts to make airborne IEDs. It’s not hard to imagine white supremacist militia groups using them in the United States to carry out terrorist attacks.

You're posting on a site called Hacker News so I'd expect you to know, but does you extended family know, without you telling them? Doubt ir, just as I would expect most people to think "Hacker News" has to do something with illegality or perhaps reporting on criminal hackers.
There’s a software company in Seattle that won’t let you fill out their online application without entering your high school GPA. I suspect they do this to discriminate against older applicants.
Another likely explanation is the online application was done by an intern fresh out of college and GPA is the only metric they had ever known. Like not being able to enter a birth date before 1970 (time_t), or not allowing more then one John Smith to register an account.
Polygraphs are comic book technology. The first one was invented by the guy who created Wonder Woman and they were popularized by a commercial for Gillette razors. It's as ridiculous as determining guilt by batarang or kryptonite. It's amazing we still allow them in law enforcement.
