at this point anthropic is dogfooding us a new product every week just to see what might stick - doubt a lot of the features/products they've rolled out will actually be around or supported in a year

They are doing experiments and seeing what takes off.

i wish i had insights into the minds of the MBAs that make decisions like this

in this thread: people hating an ai company from an ai written article about an ai written reddit thread

not to mention if some loud noise happens they blow your ear out with noise cancelling in an attempt to balance it...

expected way more from a refresh tbh

would be cool if it supported basic html/css

That's the approach I used for my thermal printer based project. Render HTML/CSS to B/W Image and then print it on the thermal printer.

Incredible project! Thanks for sharing

An easy way to do this, which I use to print recipes with my TP, is to render the page as an image. I use dom-to-image for that.

I can print webpages straight to my Epson TM-T20IV. My web browser just sends it to CUPS.

thermal printers are centuries backwards from anything like CUPS.

crazy that we as Canadians get mass surveillance before venmo, robinhood, or any number of good financial tech that the government has been safeguarding to protect the monopoly that our banks have

What is the benefit of something like Venmo over Interac e-Transfer? And everything about Robinhood seems sketchy enough that I am comfortable keeping them firmly south of the border.

llms aren’t exhausting it’s the hype and all the people around it

same thing happened with crypto - the underlying technology is cool but the community is what makes it so hated

How is "llms" pronounced?

L-L-Mms

I pronounce it language models or chat bots.

el el ems

"lemons"

not super mobile friendly (as i’d imagine for an app made for tvs) but amazing aesthetic nonetheless

usually the people who ask for the most direct advice are also the ones who so vehemently disagree with it when it's something they don't like

would love canada support on this

coming soon!
