We, through our executive branch, are going to de-value medical doctors. They get in the way of ivermectin and "wellness" grifters by being actual experts and authorities instead of grifters and influencers. Grifters and influencers can be swayed and bought off. Doctors have a code of ethics.

How does this analysis change if an LLM decides how much to charge a buyer? I think that LLMs will end up doing the median thing, and charging people based on credit rating and other financial info they've got, missing out on the "fat tail" people who have passion for, or obsession with the thing service or experience offered for sale. Some folks will claim that LLM pricing gives them great deals, others will call rip off.

Interesting! My experience was the opposite: every instance of cheating I saw turned out bad, save one plane geometry fake construction, and a physical chemistry class where the building janitor potentially stole copies of tests.

This is just an ad, and has appeared 3-4 times before.

creepy too!

Anything that handicaps or eliminates SEO is ok by me.

SEO led to Google making search worse. Pre-LLM, SEO link farms and bullshit farms were a real irritant.

I am 100% with you on this.

Which "virtue signalling" are we talking about here? The kind conservatives hate like "pronouns", or the kind conservatives love, like "MOLON LABE" stickers on their pickup trucks?

The answer is in the article.

Those who want to exercise their judgement about their own personal safety with respect to preventable illnesses won't be allowed to - vaccines won't be available at any price.

But even if they are, a substantial fraction of the populace will elect to do "wellness", making herd immunity an impossibility.

Wow, companies holding down prices. I have been told my entire life that every tiny cost increase, workers wage increase or pollution control would raise prices more or less instantly. Yet here we javeany companies holding down prices implicitly to support Trump. What the hell is going on?

I realize this is an ad hominem, but CBS News isn't the source it was 6 months ago. Why should I believe this?

Evaluate it according to your priors. What sources will you believe?

My knee jerk response, based on what I've seen is "no", but upon reflection, that's not correct.

LLM's will write code that's median almost by definition. What will happen is that code quality wii have a smaller standard deviation. Not as much terrible code, but enforced, uniform "best practices" will prevent excellent coding.
