Well this is the big question share price way down at $3.3.
My opinion is that they wont make the cut of for the September release of the next Apple Watch with Blood Pressure and Glucose Monitor but may deliver the Core Body temp and maybe something else from there list of sensors. I Read they had positive human trails with CBT beating out other current methods.
With Apple having yearly watch releases a 23 September release of GM may leave Apple exposed to the competition who knows. The other unanswered questions is whether the Rockley Sensor is the same regardless and all the Sensing is done in software/AI algorithms which have yet to be finalised/developed/tuned ?
Also would Apple want to add this functionality through software or get us all to buy a new watch.
It goes without saying that you would have to have traffic that went over one of these cables.... having said that somethings have strange dependencies that only come to light when there is a problem.
or if you want cross platform apps - Use .NET too... Microsoft bought Xamarin and added iOS, Android, and Linux and Mac support to .Net and Visual Studio. It's all included free in VS 2015.
If you just change job you will typically earn more in the next job. You should factor this in to any change.
I've worked in start ups and large companies. I quickly realized that I could make more money consulting/contracting for large companies, than working for either. This is at the sacrifice of not doing the most interesting work. If money wasn't an issue I'd love to do a start up again.
with 100 million lines of code I would:
1. Find out what is still used, remove the rest.
2. Split code into stand alone supportable units.
Applications/Libraries etc..
3. Rank units in order of new requirements and what
code will need to be changed.
4. Divide code between teams.
5. Get code to build, pass any tests and match the last released versions.
5. go back to management and get them to let you hire lots of people. A person per million lines would be very low...
6. Learn code in order of need.
Monotouch is a commercial product used by commercial companies that are backing their business on this development tool. Given the up and down nature of MononTouch over the last year. Apple's 3.3.1 outlawing of MonoTouch and eventual repleal and now this I would like to see the source code available or at least some escrow type availability, So we can have some confidence that we won't be left high and dry.
