Change the region. Not time and date, that can be blocked by screentime. Change the region. Sometimes takes multiple attempts but it does work. I had to pay a bug bounty to my child to get them to tell me how they did it
Here in the western US we have em too. Diesel bowsers have a second blue hose attached. You put one in the fuel port, one in the def port, and then let them both fill up
I think I've seen those pumps here in Germany as well, and I'm pretty sure you can get AdBlue in canisters (I have one in the basement that I forgot putting back into a rental).
Yes, this (plus that the whole thing is more convenient than filling up the washer fluid) makes the whole "we don't want the customer to fill it up" even more absurd.
Being present and in the moment is meant to allow you to observe your feelings and thoughts. If you are present when feeling and thoughts arise you realise they were not there previously so logically they will pass. This allows you to stop clinging to them as if they are you and not some external phenomenon.
Seriously come to Europe, you are basically forced into 30+ days of vacation and Heathcare is free, no need to save in case of an illness or fear losing your job and having no healthcare. This means more chance of saving for a house deposit. I am in the UK and as long as you move north of Birmingham the house prices are not stupid.
I actually wanted to, but that required getting a job there first. I was able to get a CS degree and now I am making more than enough here, but I am still behind and the process of starting a new career late in life has been grueling.
The midlands are absolutely lovely, highly recommend the area (specifically Swadlincote). Had a friend show me around years ago and it was a life changing experience.
Jordan Peterson talks about the internal feeling of having a giant scary bear inside you is nescessary for being in the world with confidence. I can't remember the exact phrasing but it's something to do with humans living on the edge between chaos and order. I think it was the book 12 Rules for life.
Well done, you have condensed and encapsulated the problem into a single line. This is evil corps motto, "Keeping you at the mercy of our addictive user engagement algorithms since 20xx".
Has anyone in here read Sapiens? That book argues imagination was the differentiating factor. Basically the limited liability company unleashed people’s ambition and that started in Europe. And lead to the Dutch and British war funding
My interpretation of the teaching is let love exist along with fear etc but don’t cling to love for fear it will pass and don’t cling to fear for fear it will not pass. He wasn’t telling people not to love but to allow it to exist without superimposing your neuroses on top of it.
