Below-market[1] salaries are a fantastic filter for "Mission-driven" hires prepared to do the "hardcore engineering" required to meet the arbitrary deadlines.
I've applied to Temporal several times. I would be a good fit, but I have yet to even get a recruiter screening. What does one have to do to get a fair shake?
