mozilla never had a sound business model to sustain its operation anyways, everything they do is just a stunt to make a living out of people's belief and naivety on how it operates.

for typesafety aside from typescript, theres ark, zod, valibot, etc.
core feature is "tool calls", in developer terms it is api access for llms, so when you talk to llm, they can use that api access to find information or do actions in your behalf.
mcp is the standardized way to do it so you can just switch llm vendors and it still works
