TritonX (https://tritonx.co) is hiring developers for mobile app development and firmware development to work on our remote patient monitoring platform and wearable sensor technology. Patients with kidney disease, heart disease, and many other conditions are at risk for fluid overload and fluid depletion and symptoms appear too late for at home interventions. We are building an early warning system that will alert patients and providers to fluid imbalance while it can still be treated at home.

Successful applicants will be working on implementation of features for our wearable sensor and remote monitoring platform which will collect research data from human subjects with various disease diagnoses. We use C/C++ for embedded systems, Flutter for app development, Python on Google Cloud Platform for cloud software. Biomedical engineering experience preferred but not required.

Walking backwards let me move around the house when otherwise immobilized with tendinitis. As noted in the article there are safety concerns.

Main causes of physician shortage: (1) the AMA limits the number of doctors produced and (2) residency slots are limited by funding from CMS.

God didn't dictate that only CMS can fund residencies.

Congress could do something else if they wanted. Or like hospitals could act privately to fund them.

There's probably all sorts of reasons it would be bad, but I like the idea of a revenue tax on hospitals. Automatically scales to the price of the most intensive care.

Do you think AMA would allow Congress to increase residencies? It's a union after all. The AMA might just stop performing deluxe congressional healthcare if the Congress crosses them! And those Congresspeople are a very unhealthy bunch!

Your comment is a conspiracy theory that has no basis in fact. You manage to blame both Unions and the AMA for something unrelated to them.

Reminds me of Teliris (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teliris) which I got to demo 15 years ago. That product ran on dark fiber with special hardware to simulate two sides of a conference table. Really uncanny and unsettling etiquette-wise. One-on-one feels better all around.
