It's best to save everyone by writing tests that prevent a $100 issue on your machine from becoming a costly $10M+ problem in production as the product scales after it has launched.
This won't be the last time and this is what 'vibe coding' doesn't consider and it it will introduce more issues like this.
I am curious, can you remember if there has been some sort of moment in your career that made you think about coding with this in mind? Maybe during your education or career? Or was it a more gradual proces? Or maybe it has never been otherwise. I am asking this because I do research on how to improve education to achieve effects like this.
