Agree - partially. I often made the experience in my life, that if I undergo a period of bad mood (especially depression) that lasts for weeks or months, I don't realize how down I am. But when that period is finally over, I suddenly become aware of how deep down I actually was. The comparison to yesterday might be a clever trick to deal with that inability of perception.
The pitfall that might araise from that rating system now is that you might tend to rate positive changes higher than negative changes or vice versa. If that is the case, it would introduce a drift again.
right - that's why i missed it too. it was just the title that made me think "where's the report?". so i waited for something to happen (animation or so). next i tried to klick the page - maybe that would trigger the next slide? and finally i did scroll...
nice butt by the way :-)
I'm going to give it a try. There are certain programming languages that I use rather unfrequently like python or bash script. But when it comes to the point that I need to use them, I allways realize that I tend to forget so many useful commands and API calls, so I have to look'em up once again and again.
My point to this phenomenon is, that when I'v just looked up a (in my eyes) complicated unix command e.g., that at this very moment I know that I won't remember it two or three days later. This tool might be a good help to note them down and help me to memorize them.
In the review video the author says 'Because the screen is so wide, typing on the surface is actually rather painful.'
Is there really no keyboard split feature like on Android or iPad? Did anyone have his / her hands on it already?
Windows 8 has a split keyboard like the one introduced on the iPad. I think they may have introduced it in developer preview builds before Apple did, in fact.
@2: well, they just gave you some good reasons not to compress files that already are. they want to save resources.
so why don't they unzip compressed files that should not be compressed, though they obviously know how to do it?
because nobody would care if they did it!
