On Pixel phones, it is possible to disable the app "AICore" https://i.imgur.com/BKJWFaj.png. I assume this disables Gemini also. I will confirm and write back.
Agreed it is a step above the rest, but I find that it still needs some oversight you'd hope it doesn't. Simple stuff like rewriting stuff differently which yields the same result (to the naked eye, no need to even test it), to having to call it out when it misses things (update other scripts with the same problem, reflect the changes in the README or requirements.txt) and to ask it to try harder to solve an issue in a better way.
Sometimes it takes the easy way out. If you look up your billing, you will see sometimes it uses the 3.5 instead of the 3.7 API, maybe this has something to do with it. It apologies ("you are correct", "yes that was hasty") but I'd rather have it try harder every time, not only when called out (and foot the bill that goes with that ofc).
But overall the experience is great. I hope to use it for a few months at least until something else comes along. At the current pace, I switch subscriptions/API/tool at least once a month.
-David Sacks bankrolled a company called Done Global. The "CEO" Ruthia He is a Chinese national with absolutely no medical experience. Very quickly, this turned into prescriptions for dead people, medspas doling out Adderall, the Chinese sharing health data about Americans as the whole back office was in China. Plenty of these narcotics ended up on the street, which was always the goal.
The CEO and several others are awaiting trial. They caught David Sacks-backed Ruthia He trying to flee to China about a month ago, and now she's back in jail.
-David Sacks had a whole money laundering operation set up around Eaze. His guy Keith McCarty left Eaze to found a payments system company (to support Eaze) and they have Keith McCarty with crack cocaine, prostitutes, and firearms rooming with a guy named Hamid Arkhavan involved in the Wirecard fraud, running up transactions to facilitate money laundering through porn sites. Eaze was a big advertiser on these sites to clear money laundering transactions.
-Earlier this year, conservative influencer Dave Rubin was caught up in a money laundering racket after he and his people were receiving payments from Russian assets, and the Russian fled the US overnight. Dave Rubin is another David Sacks-backed founder. Rubin was co-founder of the company Locals, which is extremely crappy Web 1.0 software used to facilitate payments to influencers. David Sacks sold this Locals plus his other company Callin, to Rumble $RUM and took a Board seat at Rumble.
There. Right there you have 3 David Sacks-backed founders all directly tied to money laundering and/or drug trafficking. Ruthia He. Keith McCarty. Dave Rubin.
Those are just the main ones with some amount of legal/media coverage on them, but there are more.
You still think Sacks is "just" a VC? The VC stuff is a front.
This isn't tech. This is the Mafia. Sacks just throws the word "software" over it to obfuscate it, but too many people have figured this out now.
He got too cocky after he and Lonsdale "lost" a bunch of foreign money with Hyperloop.
His prancing around is like watching an animal in a cage. He's got to negotiate his way out of this regardless.
ASRock IPMI, at least on X570D4U Ryzen 5000, is unusable. You can't turn on the firewall allow only specific IPs, it blocks everything. They said they have a beta firmware (> 01.39.00) to solve this, but it doesn't. Had to purchase a Spyder to add to the machine.
Supermicro's BMC UI on X11 does feel like 2004, but it is decently reliable. On the H13 series is even more stable and doesn't feel outdated.
Sorry, the IQ/brain capacity/"insert a term that you are comfortable" with here required to be a lawyer is much higher than to be a real estate agent. It is much more accessible to the avg person to do at least 80% of the work an agent does, especially on the buy side. And count on AI doing 100% of it, on both buy and sell sides, much better and cheaper than real estate agents, in a matter of a couple of years, if not months.
The main reason RE agents play a significant role is the artificial stronghold around the MLS. It's not their Nobel prize winning brains providing irreplaceable services.
Good sir, I've met some fucking dumb lawyers in my day, so I'm not sure why you are holding them up as a pillar of intelligence. Nobody said anything about intelligence here anyway - what I said was, real estate agents, like lawyers, financial planners, librarians, and pretty much every career on the planet exist because they have specialized knowledge and skills. You think you can replace what I do with AI? Why don't you come on over and do a ride along with me on a typical day - I bet you'll change your mind. Zillow, Redfin, and plenty of others have been trying for more than a decade to replace us and they aren't making much progress.
The MLSs? Do you have any idea what it was like prior to their existence and how much the public has benefited from the improvement in information asychronicity? Zillow et al stand on their shoulders. You don't like it, you try replicating what the MLSs do.
Unfortunately Trilium, the closest option to Evernote (as opposed to Notion), doesn't have an Android client (there is one to send notes but not search/read).
Looks like Joplin is the one checking all the right boxes (added plus of being able to sync via OneDrive, which is free, and with E2E I don't care which cloud it sits on)
This reminds me much of the Dutch society. Although I'm not Dutch, I've lived there twice, and I frequented both old, new and no money circles. What struck me the most among Dutch was how similar a blue collar worker and the president of KLM would look riding a bike down the street.
Is there something you could say about complementing Defender with paid MalwareBytes? Is there too much overlap to justify this? Or is performance hindered more than the additional benefit accrued (not that I feel it, system is responsive enough)?
PS: wouldn't it be nice to actually be able to ping his DID from anywhere?
