Ouch, missed that. Belatedly added.

500 Server error.

That went well.

There's no need for that. Why do you feel you need to be sarcastic and rude?

I'm sorry everyone can't be nice on the internets.

This is Hacker News. Learn the etiquette.

Yes, it turns out that the game gives you a selection of letters, like Scrabble, to fill in all the text fields shown. You get the 500 error if you leave the text fields blank. It would be nice if the site gave a JavaScript alert instead of submitting the form with invalid input.

Unfortunately, that was a bug. If the number of characters you provided was less than the length of the word you gave, the server 500'd.

Oops! Sorry about that, the link should be fixed now!

Used the Pendule plugin to view the source.

But otherwise, very clever.

+1 for EditPlus!

Definitely like some of the features in this picker.

If anyone's ever looking for a lightweight simple date picker (~4k) you can always check out mine:

:)

please remove this annoying animation, and strange effect with mouse cursor on inactive days (for a moment I thought that chrome has crashed)

You can actually remove the calls to slideUp(200) and slideDown(200) and replace them with hide() and show() respectively.

As well you can set the -hover class to not alter the looks if you don't want the hover effect.

I know it takes quite a bit of effort but one of the things I'm really drawn to about any startup/site is if they have a video explaining how the process works.

Have you considered adding one of those?

I think the "Take the tour" should be renamed "FAQ"

I was hoping to see some shots of it in action before I signed up.

Same here, I don't really understand what it does, or why I should spend 10 minutes registering and setting it up just to find out.

I Agree. Maybe putting an intro video or at least a couple of screenshots next to the faq would make a better presentation.

I would really need to see a screencast and or screenshots before i would ever think about joining a site like this.

Same thing here.

If you have trouble waking up to an alarm everyday (around the same time) then you need to really re-evaluate your sleeping conditions and habits.

After having to wake up everyday around 7am my internal clock has pretty much gotten used to just waking my body up around the time. Even on weekends sometimes (eek).

Neat product but it's more of a novelty item than anything for me.

I think you should make the "OR" button turn into the REFRESH icon (like how browsers have it) so that you don't have to move the mouse all the way over to go to the next question.

Would definitely improve the experience

You can use your keyboard arrow keys to navigate too.

Left hand on left-side of keyboard

Right hand on mouse

By having to use arrow keys I have to move my hand over.

I know it seems like a nit-pick situation but majority of the site is driven with a mouse so I figured it only made sense.

Blacking out completely is just about the most dumbest thing you can do.

Why not fill your ads with SOPA/PIPA related items. Why not put info in the header.

That is of not much use to the user. By blacking out the whole page, users are now forced to read about the Reddit's stand against SOPA and PIPA which people might miss if Reddit follows your suggestion. Even people ignorant about SOPA and PIPA will read this and get a clear understanding about it

blaking out it's the right move to make common people get what will happen soon.
