This is about Arrival, the EV Maker that went public in the UK, after receiving orders from UPS and Uber.

An explanation about grounding in our electricity system came to be. It went through the evolution of just having positive and negative to various ways of adding grounding until we get to the grounding we have today. I seem to remember it being a Reddit comment or something similar.

Just curious, what social networks are popular in Germany now? And what led to the declining usage of studiVZ?

I think the most popular social network is Facebook. But as others said, people are looking for small services to solve a small problem.

studiVZ wasn't cool anymore. We missed the point for a rebrand to open the plattform for other people. "studi" is a abbreviation for student. Our answer was a new brand called meinVZ (just another UI, same database). Together with the ability to provide new cool features (e.g. Apps, Activity stream, i18n) it was just a question of time until FB was getting the market leadership.

Both questions can be answered with Facebook. For messaging though, Whatsapp is very common here these days. I don't like the service at all, but you're almost out of the loop if you avoid it - well, at least among my friends.

It does have a backlight for just that reason. The size and simple functionality are the best if that's all you need.

I'm sad to see this game go. It was really fun to play. The beautiful art and non-violent gameplay made it really a really unique whimsical game.

Living in Vancouver, I disagree. Craigslist is still the main buy/sell website here. I've tried to use Kijiji a couple of times with the same results as the original poster - not much response.

Seems to vary pretty widely place to place. Kijiji is the site of choice in Calgary, where I live. Brandon MB has a standalone website, eBrandon.

I wonder which versions of Skype are affected? This might cause those trying to hang on to the previous version with multiple windows to have to update.

Check out the Motorola F3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorola_FONE_F3. It has an e-Ink display, so you can read the clock without having to push a button and the battery life is awesome.

Any way to use one of those on Verizon? Googling around, people claim that (a) the F3c (CDMA version) isn’t available in the US, and (b) non-Verizon-branded phones can’t be made to work on their network.

It's great how they used check boxes to make the submit button appear. It makes it more likely that people will actually read the warning.
