AI is not going to reduce human hubris in fact it is making it stronger.

I found a reference to this story while examining the new cases on security.microsoft.com and had a funny conversation with Claude about it and then checked to see if hacker news had an entry on it and found none so here is the full report from Oasis security

Huge brick and mortar corporations hedge their bets and do not go all in without a generation passing into retirement on the board of directors.

The point is that this may be different, they may have no choice. As they (along with the country) die, they will have no logical plan of action but to go all in.

pessimistic view point worst case scenario: humanity will survive in plexiglass domes with underground bunkers and we will send out AI robots into space to seed humans on other likely planets

In any case: AI is incapable of making art since it has no desires, agency or needs yet.

I have been making, mounting and printing digital images then afterwards painting over them to give them substance; I have been doing this since the 90s and nobody pays attention to my work; I guess I would need this guy to come to my shows and chew on my art in protest.

The human condition is not ascertained through language; it is only expressed through language so truly understandable only to someone who also shares the human condition which certainly is not the case of any LLM.

It could have been nicer if the base stories would have also been produced too and perhaps even some imagined fanciful comments;)
