I saw this video where this gen z girl was saying she preferred working for boomers who just wanted her to show up on time, get her work done, and maybe stay a little late from time to time. She said it was exhausting working for millenials who wanted her to think her job was "saving the world."

Like Harvard is a hedge fund with a school as a side project.

I've been 100% slip-ons for years.

There are laces designed to convert a shoe meant for regular laces into a slip-on, such as https://www.locklaces.com/

I've used them and they worked pretty well.

Humans driving cars crash more than humans walking on side walks. But is humans driving cars really bad?

"estimates" (with air quotes)

I remember in the 1980's, some rich guy gave a commencement speech in which he said he would pay for college for the entire graduating class in some high school in NJ. He got great press from this. But then it turned out in the fine print that the kids had to max out student loans, and he would cover the difference for tuition, but not including room and board. :-)

This answer is correct.

I saw a show where the listener asks at the beginning of the interaction: "wait, do you want me to try to solve a problem, or just to listen?"

The problem is that after years of people crying "facism" for mean tweets, lowering coprorate taxes and eforcing a national border, the term has lost any meaning. Maybe we need a new term?

The people crying fascism years ago were right, and now it's here. It hasn't lost meaning, too many people just liked the fascism.

I worked at a purchasing dept. where each commonly ordered part or service had a six digit item number that had to be entered. The CFO picked some company to do the new version of the software, and they decided to randomly assign new different item numbers which included 13 leading zeros to each item number. So now everyone had to learn the new item numbers and type in a the 13 leading zeros each time.
