Will the next Call of Duty be impacted?

If things went wrong in the process of producing a CoD game it might turn out fun

I’d argue every time they allow Sledgehammer Games to take the lead on a CoD title, it goes wrong.

MWII was a breath of fresh air amidst an over abundance of twitchy ultra-arcade shooters. It struck a balance between the arcade experience we expect, but deliberately slowing it down such that reaction time didn’t dominate gameplay.

In contrast, MWIII from SHG is a step backwards to such an extreme that along with Vanguard, I don’t think they’re qualified to be anything but a support studio for the CoD franchise.

Asking the real questions here.

I don't know this guy, but how can he confirm this? does he possess any inner information? why I got the feeling that he is so eager to put a conclusion on this when it is still open for debate at this stage.

Binance is the largest cryptocurrency trading platform globally.

According to this tweet [0] they have a "threat intelligence" department that continually monitors for potential issues. It makes sense that they would be on the lookout for leaks of this nature, as they are highly dependent on correctly verifying and identifying their customers.

Does it matter?

No, not as such, but they say:

> “Stay up-to-date on the latest layoffs across big tech, tech unicorns, and top startups.“

That makes it a weird mix of concerning layoff and layoff that would have happened eventually anyway.

You’re right that it doesn’t matter, so why not include all companies that employ developers and operation people and get a real feel for the current job market?

How about third party libraries? I mean you can remember the APIs or you write a placeholder that says this function will be provided by some third party libs. Or what you work on is pure vanilla code?

Writing code on paper doesn't work very well for APIs you're not very familiar with. But she apparently knows the Arguments API well enough to write out calls to it without rereading the manual.

the article seems intended to white wash her, just saying

I think we should give it a try before reaching our own conclusion.
