This is a awesome compatible "patch" to fix the bugs the much disliked Electoral College voting system that frequently does not elect the popular winner.
I've noticed poor performance for months now. I have been a long time supporter of MonkeyBrains. But recently I've noticed frequent slowness with less than 10MBPS performance. Apparently they do throttle. Look here for the section on reasons for slowness: "Your home computer has been sending or receiving more than 1TB of traffic in a month -- our bots may have throttled your link to 10Mbps (This doesn't apply to business level accounts)"
There are many degrees of freedom in chip design: speed, power, real estate, slew rate, clock rate, etc. The core can have more moderate power density (trading off real estate and speed) if that's what is needed in the application. Probably the figure of merit that is most important is energy/hash, not circuit density or speed.
Their example distribution is buggy. Users 3-6 all have the same 3BTC balance, yet they receive different distributions (users 3&4 get zero, user 5 gets 2BTC, and user 6 get 3BTC.)
We put in a fix. Looks like it's working again. But there might be some continued instability. Please let us know if you find a persistent problem. Thanks!
