They are engineered in the Uk. Engines made in Uk and China. From memory India was assembly from knockdown unless that has changed. Supply is for the domestic market. Just because there is Ownership doesn't mean transfer of skills
Hyundai does some design work in India and manufacturing (i20) but hardly any exported, and for the domestic market.
Mahindra is probably doing the most exports, at a guess
? Wikipedia says the writer you are referring to as disadvantaged is working on a project as a writer, producer and director and has some pretty heavy backing
No, she might be working as a director on a film that has yet to be made; she is not the writer on that film. And she is not an "executive producer," so the title of "producer" is meaningless (it doesn't actually entail any responsibilities and is generally an honorific).
And the point is that while she had a major blockbuster success, this will only be her second film since that success; in that time, the losers behind Morbius will have worked on 4 films.
The point you are trying to make is starting to require a lot of caveats. She might be director not a writer, she's a producer not an executive producer, etc.
Also, Lim lists herself as a director of the film in her Twitter bio[0], so it seems like a lot more than a maybe at this point.
Separate from all that, I don't understand your larger point about Lim. She went from Crazy Rich Asians which grossed over 200 million, and then went directly to work on Raya, which grossed over 100 million, and now is directing and producing her own movie with hand chosen writing talent. Where exactly is she struggling? And where are writers being forced on her?
Kinda, they can classify the activity of the engineers project work as r&d, and capilise the appropriate amount on the balance sheet (i.e. does not show under r&d expenses). Over time that would then be shown as depreciation, not r&d. You can't captilise an engineers time that is maintenance work.
A quick look at Ubers annual report states they do not capitalise r&d costs and instead expense it as incurred.
Consumer Reports rankings tell a similar story. In several appliance categories, you have to scroll past at least a screenfull of LG models to get to other brands.
Happens all the time with monitors and dual sourcing of parts like panels where it is lottery on who has supplied.
With the s22 the 'intl' and 'us' models have different model numbers. I'm more concerned when buying a car and trying to figure out in which country it has been assembled (quality and parts used can differ)
It's a reasonable of life warranty in nz. 2 years is standard for products.
But a fridge would reasonably expect to last for all least 4 years so the manufacturer would be obligated to cover it if say the compressor failed. But if it was something like an electric toothbrush then 2 years would be the warranty.
I use Brave and ddg (depending on browser).
Brave is only worse when it comes to location specific searches, otherwise for general searches I'm agnostic between the two.
Still fallback to !g bangs on every couple of days.
