Agree this reminds me of the level my Herman Hesse “The Glass Bead Game”. Academics and researchers have a moral duty to give back to the larger society that enables their endeavors .
Same I am in outstanding physical health and my diet / exercise is excellent. Taking Lexipro has made a massive improvement on my emotional bandwidth. I take vitamin D / fish oil and bits of other supplements. At least for me no question this medication even at a 10mg dose has made a major positive impact.
Searching email in Mac Mail is truly horrendous. I honestly like the program and use it almost daily … but when needing to search I absolutely open a browser window and login / search. The search has been a disaster in Mac Mail well over a decade.
It has improved my understanding of emotional dynamics between people. If anything has made me realize may be a bit more on the spectrum that I had realized...
What exactly is international law these days? For example the ICC is ignored by the US, by Russia, by Israel, by China... among others. The UN does not seem to function quite like it did originally post WW2. In regards to Rule based order.. not sure exactly what this even means as well. Power in the world appears to be shifting or reshuffling and not sure these institutions and concepts apply like they once did.
The amount of AI narrated videos on Youtube is seriously alarming. This is like Blade Runner level dystopian at this point. With AI help once you go down a rabbit hole you can just stay there indefinately with a never ending supply of AI generated content. Shades of truth or not doesn't seem to matter.
I've found a few that work but many can be buggy or non-functional, just depends on the extension. The only one I use currently is called "Control Panel for Twitter", which seems to work pretty well.
“ Dr. Peterson said he would reluctantly alter the course and replace the disputed modules with “lectures on free speech and academic freedom.” But he was angry, he said, as well as bothered by the sense that students would receive a less rigorous, challenging education in his classroom. ”
Quite sad to see the school administration get compliance here.
“ Such metrics are often closely guarded trade secrets. But according to the Dailian report, Samsung's yields for SF2 are in the 50% to 60% range, just high enough for commercial production. The same report puts TSMC's upcoming N2 node at 80%”
Looks like Samsung is actually closer to production than Intel 18A which is still having issues with yields.
Dailian is being overly charitable to Samsung and downplaying Intel. They’re a Korean news outlet with a vested interest in the Chaebol.
That being said, take it however you like. Apple is talking to Intel to make their deal with TSMC more favorable. They could have done the same with Samsung. Either way, TSMC will still be fabbing (at least a good chunk of) their 2nm chips.
