Censoring free speech is the end of democracy. We must fight back against government encroachment on our rights.

The right to what, exactly? Extralegally hand over private PII to the government?

This article is not a censorship polemic.

If you try to trap a person and possibly attack them, even if they are in a car and you are outside of it, you may be harmed as they defend themselves.

Self defense has always been permissible. You don't get special rights to physically restrain (kidnap) someone just because they are in a car.

So dumb.

Self-defense... Against what? Being unable to move?

How about instead of trying to take earnings from those who work or assets from those who earned them, we reduce government size and spending?

Maybe tax rates should be based on government spending? So that as government spending goes up, taxes go up, giving people incentive to try and reduce government spending.

So you measure wealth only relatively? If you are the same as everyone else, even if you are all starving to death that is better than being the poorest person in a society but living in a house and having plenty of food and being physically safe?

No amount of wealth will protect you from your own mortality, so clearly that's not what wealth is for.

High trust society transitioning to a low trust society.

The root problem is not health insurers, they are just a happy beating dummy. The root problem is the government restrictions on the numbers of new doctors that existing doctors have passed to restrict supply and keep their salaries astronomically high.

Gotta love an article about American agriculture written by someone with no farming experience in a foreign publication.

I am an actual American farmer and the number one problem we have is that we allow foreign farm goods to be imported into the US to compete directly with US made farm goods. But the US farm goods have to follow many very expensive environmental and labor rules that the foreign farm goods do not.

Ridiculous article. It is not even a war when no one on the American side has died. Von Clausewitz would have some choice words for this armchair general.

> no one on the American side has died.

Incorrect. Thirteen US service members are confirmed to have died, here are their names:

  Sgt. Benjamin Pennington (age 26)

  Maj. Sorffly Davius (age 46)

  Maj. Jeffrey O'Brien (age 45)

  Capt. Cody Khork (age 35)

  Sgt. Noah Tietjens (age 42)

  Sgt. Nicle Amor (age 39)

  Sgt. Declan Coady (age 20)

  Maj. John Klinner (age 33)

  Capt. Ariana Savino (age 31)

Tech. Sgt. Ashley Pruitt (age 34)

  Capt. Seth Koval (age 38)

  Capt. Curtis Angst (age 30)

Tech. Sgt. Tyler H Simmons (age 28)
Here are the press releases from the US government acknowledging their deaths:

@dang my stalker has returned.

Von Clausewitz thought it was a fool's errand to try to have a bloodless war. Who is Von Clausewitz? One of the most famous military strategists of all time who lived two centuries ago and spent his entire life at war. He pointed to many examples from his time of foolish populations and leaders who thought they could get away with "humane" versions of war, then were smashed by those who held no such compunctions.

Americans and the west need to set aside the Disney and Netflix propaganda we are drowned in and recognize that when we fight, we need to go all in including troops on the ground.

I have five kids and would rather spend time with them doing anything (even picking up trash), then time doing anything else without them. It is the natural, biological order of things.
