I cannot find the specific posting for the Senior Low Latency Linux Engineer on your careers site. I believe we are a good fit: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36957947

  Location: Montreal, Canada
Remote: Yes, also fine with hybrid and on-site, travel is also OK
  Willing to relocate: No
Technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Bash/other shells, Python, C, Java, Linux internals, Ansible, Terraform
  Résumé/CV: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/seczfxgd97csa5grkryxx/res_s_rolon_infra.pdf?rlkey=s34fuqife5srm57sb3zqwgall&dl=0
Email: js [at] rolon [dot] co
I'm an engineer with 3.5 years of experience in DevOps and infra. I am passionate about making software run fast and streamlining development processes.

I have just finished my CS master's thesis in Performance Engineering on the interface between virtual machines and NVMes, focusing on userspace drivers (SPDK<->vfio). I've gained familiarity with the Linux NVMe driver, io_uring, and latency measurement for complex software systems (à la Richard Sites' Software Dynamics).

I'm looking for a generalist role with heavy emphasis on performance engineering, system optimization, or legacy refactoring; but open to pure DevOps and infra positions with perceivable effects on the company's main business operation. Most comfortable in companies with 30+ employees.

Cheers!
