This is something I think Facebook has been unfairly attacked for. Yes, Facebook didn't do everything perfectly, sometimes they were negligent, but they did also try quite a bit (both financially and manpower-wise).

The reality is, anyone else would've failed the same way. The problem wasn't that Facebook was evil or negligent, it was that being the "primary communications platform for all of humanity" was always going to be impossible to moderate, and it was always going to turn nasty.

Like any new Mozilla initiative, this will not exist in a year.

Game changer

She was right. But Figma is a legitimate, profitable, and strong business.

The reality is most startups are not like Figma. They would make pretty bad businesses and their only exit strategy is to get acquired.

There's simply no way they could stand on their own legs and go public.

Figma being credible competition to Adobe was the reason the merger was blocked. If Figma was less like Figma, and was a pretty bad business, Adobe would be less interested in acquiring them, and regulators would be even less interested in blocking it.

I'm a big fan of Tldraw and the people behind it. The tech behind Tldraw is impressive and the people are great.

But they just seem to be churning out random AI demos?

It's so good in fact that I wish it existed for macOS so I wouldn't need to use the official Logitech crap

The Logitch Options+ is super hot garbage I tried once. The regular "Options" I don't find to be as obtrusive. But I would use this in a heartbeat if it existed.
