We in Capture One are looking for experienced/senior Objective-C + Swift engineers.
We’re looking for engineers to join of one of our engineering teams for implementing features and fixing bugs, but also the “social” part of developing code: Discussing good designs, reviewing pull requests and helping less experienced engineers do a good job.
We envision that the role as Senior macOS Engineer can be performed as a remote role, with the daily contact and communication done via Teams, Slack and mail.
We already have some engineers working successfully remote – so we have experience with this kind of setup.
Because the macOS application has roots 10-15 years back, we have a lot of code still in Objective-C but most new code and most tests (like 95%) are written in Swift.
The core of the desktop application is written in C++, so some knowledge of C++ would be a bonus.

This is not a startup; the codebase has roots more that 15 years back and is a mix of Objective-C, Swift and C++. The majority of the code is still in Objective-C, but whenever we create new classes we strive for Swift.
We are looking for Senior macOS Software Engineers with expert knowledge of Objective-C and Swift to strengthen our engineering teams.
