OH... I can paste here so you don't have to go to my dumb old blog, but images/receipts in case I'm right and it's gone later:

Did I find an Elon Musk alt account?

If so, a billionaire tech guy is using an avatar that’s never been used but by him? It’s insane.

Cybetruck defender “@DhalgrenMarquis” in this thread (screencaps below) –https://reddit.com/r/CyberStuck/comments/1fuulhv/elon_is_tha...

Look at the account’s new avatar on twitter: https://x.com/DhalgrenMarquis

The account DEFINITELY SOUNDS LIKE UNHINGED ELON.

BUT... Reverse image tineye search shows avatar only appeared once in history… 2022 to Elon. WHAT? https://tineye.com/search/2758dc69ac96d17ded5b33f1d3964a1b77...

It leads to this tweet in that tineye search that is just Elon. It’s replying to a “mars” account, which is the only other account that Dhalgren Marquis follows. https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1566848612092477451

FWIW: Dhalgren: Science Fiction from 1975 about an unknown catastrophe that cuts off part of the world. Marquis: nobility, etc.

There’s ZERO chance that isn’t an official Elon Musk alternate account right? What does the guy even do?

Architects design buildings with the heaviest load being paper. Paper is the heaviest thing in a building.

Annihilation is one of the most underappreciated films in decades. That thing is so amazing. Garland's work is fantastic.

The (not AAA, just a dude made it) game "The Shore" is a Lovecraftian short walking simulator that has a lighthouse feature rather prominently. DO NOT WATCH THE TRAILER. But if you like lighthouses, Cosmic horror, body horror and can play a walking simulator, you might look at it. I would rec, but who am I?

I too was confused by the statement. I went to VP2, which I think has best specs on the market, and even w/ slight loss of vertical, it's amazing and fun.

Half-Life: Alyx and many other games, like SO MANY... Moss, Job Simulator / Vacation Simulator, Rick and Morty, Accounting Plus, In Death, The Lab, Beat Sabre, etc... all super fun.

But Alien: Isolation in VR is the greatest entertainment experience of my life. Amazing.

Vive Pro 2 is literally the best specs on the market right now, followed by Valve Index.

HTC Vive, Vive Pro 2 are stellar and fun. I use it with Steam. VP2 is basically market leader right now. The Valve Index is also wonderful.

HTC Vive Pro, therefore, is a wonderful solution. It's spendy because its properly priced without marketing gimmicks like Uber, Amazon, or FB do to subsidize the price to take over the world. It's the most fun "entertainment" experience of my life.

Is that wired? The Quest has spoiled me, unfortunately, and any VR headset I buy will have to be wire-optional at least.

I don't mind it needing a PC, but I don't want to have a wire to tangle up in.

There is an additional add-on that maked it wireless, but by default it's wired.

As their long form journalism with moving graphics and images is so popular and gets so many clicks, think how awe inspiring and what a major effect it would have to shut down all of that stuff on articles talking about that stuff, just to give people a dose of what it could/would be like. It would be respected, get other articles about it, etc.
