Comcast Internet went out at my girlfriend's once. After several phone calls of BS it turns out Comcast came to service the apartment next to hers and decided to unplug the cable from the street that goes into her apartment. Their rationale was that it was unmarked so obviously it couldn't have been important.
My company pays for me to have tethering on my iPhone so I not really supposed to also expense internet at a hotel. Of course this is fine for doing work stuff like email, but when you're in a hotel for 4 days it's nice to have Netflix, which obviously is not ideal on a tethered cell connection.
I go with the finest possible while not impossible to push down the plunger. I bought an AeroPress about 18 months ago and haven't made coffee different way since.
Youtube uploads suggests to me they want functionality from any source to get an edge on the competition.
Definitely this. PS4 users constantly complain how, in order to get a video on YouTube, you must upload to Facebook, download the video, then upload to YouTube.
Granted, we're getting USB output soon enough, but direct upload to YouTube would be ideal.
That's so baffling. A while back I used...I think it was Timbuk2's backpack/messenger bag customization interface, which is fantastic for actually designing/ordering a product and has a "share" button, but it inexplicably only lets you share to Facebook. (And maybe Twitter and G+, I forget.) They actually generate a URL, don't let you see it, but will put it on Facebook for you.
I cannot comprehend what sort of thought leads to an implementation like that.
I would love if this had some sort of a universal plug on it so you can power other laptops besides Macs. Then you can plug some sort of adapter in so you can charge Dell, Sony, etc. laptops as well.
