Tuna is full of mercury and other human-made environmental toxins, due to it being high in the food chain. So I don't trust that Tuna in their "right mind" would do this. It's like observing human mad hatters and concluding that their behavior is normal

You still can't do a search with origin from multiple countries, which annoys me. If I want to find the cheapest ticket for a cross-atlantic trip, it would be very helpful to have such a feature.

Kiwi used to have this in their map view -- you could select a very large circular region regardless of country as the origin -- but it seems like they got rid of it.

This was by far the most useful tool to identify cheap segments and cut down the space of options.

You used to be able to. It was brilliant, you could do a quick relocation flight, even make it a nice little first stop, and then get a nice long haul somewhere else.

Ah the good old days.

"Here, have a sense of freedom. Something Apple will never give you."

So New Zealand and Australia ranks highest, with Ireland one point below

Use solar, dudes. You can even run crypto rigs directly on 12 volts, which saves you the hassle of getting costly inverters and PSUs

A waste of plastic really

Bighead thought: Can't we just melt everything down to a big soup and suck out the different fractions/layers and then further chemically and/or mechanically separate all the stuff that sticks together?

Most plastics become unusable when they are heated.

The simplest workable system would be to burn everything (producing electricity) and filter the metals from the ashes.

Just let the man build some tunnels. Also, just because the demo shows a Tesla model X doesn't mean that other services like the pods are discluded, as the article states. It's simply a matter getting some 7+ seat cars and stuffing a bunch of people in them.

It has surely gone through quite a paper trail. "Final rejection" dated 13.07.2012, but that wasn't the end of it:

I wonder if the people causing and writing that nonsense lead a happy life knowing they are just creating nonsense. Who does this kind of stuff? People who hate their job? Or hate themselves?

I think it's important to note this patent is from Theranos. It was likely used to perpetuate their fraud.. by telling investors they have N tech patents to show they were innovative.

Yeah, it's not like they are building important stuff like: oppression tools for China; privacy destroying tracking software; dark pattern Skinner's boxes; advertising delivery platforms; and so on.

A lot of them probably have nice cars and big houses. There are plenty of people who do BS in business and have happy lifes.

As far as I know, a nice car and a big house does very little to increase your happiness. Once you meet nominal needs of living, all the 'extra' stuff does very little to make you 'more' happy. It also usually comes in balance with the work or other parts of your existence you have to perform which usually comes with a higher price, offsetting the 'extra' stuff you think you have, because you don't just get 'extra' of the 'nice' parts of life, also 'extra' of the bad parts.

No, not always. It shifts after a refresh.

I got 13 points after the negative image (first), and 11 points after the positive image, which contradicts the research. I was in a pretty positive mood before starting though, and then I started concentrating on the task, which may or may not have had an influence. Also, the "positive/humorous" video I found to be pretty boring, so maybe I got more annoyed than getting in a good mood, because I just wanted to get on with the test.
