If you see the movie, pay attention to the classroom scene just after Ben gets beaten up and you can clearly see jl's book. I thought it was pretty cool.
Product injection sometimes works both ways - Indie film-makers have to purposely hide mainstream logo'd stuff or they'll get in legal murky waters - as in if you have a Coke bottle prominently visible you are implying that Coke might have something to do with your little film..
