Not a huge Apple fanboy here, but it should be acknowledged that Apple did an about face and started pushing on user privacy loooong before it was a competitive marketing checkbox vs. other tech companies. Locationgate happened what, 8 years ago?
While I agree with you in the history, I don't put trust in a corporation to necessarily keep doing the right thing when conditions change in the future.
