No, but to say that their isn't something to be learned by being poor would be incorrect.

I'm sure people will strongly disagree, but nothing replaces the perspective that being down to your last dollar gives you.

I grew up in a poor country: I've been poor. Other than a profound desire to never be poor again, I don't know how that "perspective" has ever helped me.
