My comment was about the exaggerated claim that people have to lug around power bricks for their laptops.

Let me put it to you this way: would the meeting scene you witnessed have been any better if they'd had iPads instead of MacBook Air laptops?

Quite possibly. At conferences in my (non-"techie") field, the single biggest source of delays is people getting their Macs to talk to the projector.

I'm not sure I understand this. Are you saying that iPads are easier to connect to projectors than MacBooks, or that with iPads you don't need a projector?
