I am a self-taught computer science student and I realized that studying alone I am incredibly unproductive, so I tried to find web pages that would connect me with other people with the same level of knowledge (I study all languages rigorously from the specification and I am currently developing an extension for google chrome).

But I'm not sure if I'm looking in the right place, are there better sites to find study mates or is this the only one?

(Maybe I can meet people on Hacker News but I can't find people who are currently studying and are not business owners (like most HN users))
