It's kinda sad that we need the waiter rule...is it too much to ask for people to treat others nicely?

Unfortunately, yes. Some people don’t see the point of treating others nicely, especially when there are no consequences to mistreating others.

Given that people don't treat others nicely I'm glad that we do have the rule. Easy way to identify the assholes.
