We're looking for an experienced iOS engineer with a passion for music who aspires to build excellent products in the music tech space. Specialty working with video content and newsfeeds are a bonus. Stack: Swift, XCode, Firebase.
Plaze is a B2C mobile app for musicians & creatives to get connected with their local music scene. We provide this niche community a digital home and tools to meaningfully access like minded creatives and move their art forward. We're a bootstrapped company of 5 friends and musicians committed to driving innovation in the music industry. As an engineer on our team you assist in ideation and feature development as part of our product life cycle and will advise the business regarding technical decisions.
Requirements
A degree in computer science or a related field. 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer. Preference is given to candidates who play or have a passion for music. Ideal candidate is a freelancer who will not depend on this project for income, we are a bootstrapped company operating on a strong commitment to the company vision. Expected 10-15 hours per week to start, flexible schedule is preferred.
