I look at the way you describe competitive people, and I understand why you think this way. But in my experience, people who have competitive personality have a lot more variation, and don't really fit the picture that you paint. There are certainly some people like that; but there's plenty of toxic and demotivating people with opposite personality traits, too.
I understand that you wouldn't be motivated by competition, and that's fine. I wouldn't want to work in a company that forces everybody to compete. That's actually my point: working in a company that builds it motivation structure that suits only one personality type is wrong, whatever personality type that is.
