My name is Dan and I'm a Software Engineer in Boulder, CO. Bustl is an app I've been building in my spare time since the first of this year. As someone that uses an old-fashioned whiteboard on the daily, I needed an easy way to process and organize my scribbles. It's based around uploading photos of whiteboards and breaking their content down into smaller, consumable pieces. Maybe it can help someone else.
Key Features:
* Whiteboard photo storage
* Interactive photo environment
* Card generation with markdown
* Minimalist-style Kanban boards
* Calendar events
Stack: Terraform, AWS AppSync with Go Lambdas, Serverless Framework, Postgres, AWS Cognito, React, Apollo Client, Tailwind
I should mention there is a somewhat-strict monthly limit to how many photos each user may upload (3 per 30 days) and there is currently no way to upgrade. If you reach your limit early and need more time to get the full experience, send me a message and I'll increase it.
I use my whiteboard daily, and this sounds like a project that could be very valuable to me. However, looking at your website it is not exactly clear what the software does. An explainer video or something of the sort would be very helpful.
Thanks for the feedback, great idea with the demo video. To help answer your question: the app lets users interact with their whiteboard photos and transfer physical notes to Kanban cards that can be more easily tracked and organized. If you're like me, you may have a bunch of seemingly random whiteboard pictures on your phone with no good way to manage everything they capture. Bustl lets you do just that as well as serving as a whiteboard photo hub so your notes are all in one place.
Thanks for your feedback. I've added a Product page and hastily dropped in some screenshots I had on hand from a planned PH launch. They are not optimized for mobile and I plan on replacing them with something better tonight but hopefully they'll serve the purpose until then. Cheers!
