They say they don't know why he would do this, and then quote someone else saying this information would be a huge advantage.

They don't seem to elaborate what that advantage is.


This is speculation from 1 year ago:

So as I interpret it, there is a black market for this stuff because publishers and producers want to find and move on the opportunity before anyone else. It also sounds like it's a bit of an ego thing.
