One of my old townships used to pay a guy with a silenced rifle to come kill the dear once in a while, because each township banned hunting but there were wooded areas dotting throughout where deer would breed and breed then eventually run into traffic and kill people, then wander off to heal and then emerge angrier.

At least turkeys just stop in the middle of the road then try to bite you if you get out and try to shoo them.

(Shoo, no t. As in get out, shine a flashlight and yell, then the thing charges you as some Karen whines from her porch that you're disturbing wildlife on the way to the mall.)
