It did seem a bit odd they threw their sales team under the bus so readily. The narrative on the call insinuated that they got lazy in sales due to covid and the current business environment was not the issue. The solution for lower guidance was to fire 100 sales people and hire new sales staff. Good luck to the new sales staff I guess. No pressure, obviously.
From my interaction with their sales / enterprise sales things felt disjointed. There is a core team and then the rest. Sales appeared to be just as lost as customers looking at publicly available info (which sometimes is vague).
Documentation itself has improved. Perhaps sales did require a reboot.
Does this really warrant a ~21% drop?
