> The cloud-services company now expects $1.280 billion to $1.284 billion in full-year revenue, whereas Cloudflare's prior outlook was for $1.330 billion to $1.342 billion in revenue.

Does this really warrant a ~21% drop?

May be factor in the opportunity cost of 1-YR treasury bond rate of 4.783%?

More likely other cloud providers such as Amazon have indicated slower/negative growth ahead also.

It did seem a bit odd they threw their sales team under the bus so readily. The narrative on the call insinuated that they got lazy in sales due to covid and the current business environment was not the issue. The solution for lower guidance was to fire 100 sales people and hire new sales staff. Good luck to the new sales staff I guess. No pressure, obviously.

From my interaction with their sales / enterprise sales things felt disjointed. There is a core team and then the rest. Sales appeared to be just as lost as customers looking at publicly available info (which sometimes is vague).

Documentation itself has improved. Perhaps sales did require a reboot.

Apparently NET is down 25% at the moment https://www.marketwatch.com/tools/screener/after-hours
