Harry and Meghan: Spotify podcast deal with couple ends (bbc.com)

Not a royalist not a fan. I think Harry got a lifetime shit sandwich from the British press and continues to make unwise choices they bathe in.

Ending the podcast deal was inevitable. Not bothered, netflix and Amazon and Apple can series all the time. Redditors think Spotify are nasty. Dunno what I think about that.

Where's the tech in this?

To reply to my own question, his grandparents were avid proponents of digital communications. The Queen had the first non staff non research (British) Telecom "gold" mailbox, pre internet and was in due course one of the first accounts hacked online. Philip was totally into computing, he opened the new Edinburgh department of comp Sci in the 60s and asked intelligent questions (maybe he was well briefed)

I think this ex royal thing was a gig they needed to capitalise on quickly. Things are unlikely to improve for them. Game shows are just around the corner.

They needed to make this a success.
