I think I prefer this to learning vim shortcuts. I would rather say U than Urge so I don’t need to think but the phonetic alphabet would do I guess.

Realistically the phonetic alphabet is fine. It's weird but you get used to it, it's so much less ambiguous once you get up to speed.
