I've used C# for decades at this point, but only every had a day job that used it once. I don't know why so many startups drive right past the dotnet ecosystem for some cthulian JavaScript thing. I sure wish I could return to dotnet professionally!

Well, most people are now introduced to programming through tutorials on YouTube and bootcamps, and those mostly teach the "MERN" way.
