I'd like to add to the list of mac performance complaints. If you haven't noticed that the newish Settings app is terribly slow when switching sections, open activity monitor while you're doing it, click on the first item under your name (Wi-Fi), and press the down arrow key till you get to the bottom. It will open a separate process for each navigation item and keep it around until you quit Settings.
