This is genuinely an interesting take on both the rise of Trumpism as well as Marxism and the continuing threats to liberal democracy in the modern age.

I had studied the Zealots and the Cathars in history class (great high school!) in relation to the history of religion and politics, but never joined up the dots like this. Lots to think about.
