Watched this mini video essay by BPS.space (Joe Barnard), and it resonated with me a lot. So many personal projects get side tracked by trying to optimize some detail or another, get bogged down by that detail, and never get finished in any form. I really like his approach to explaining the phenomenon and how it affects a ton of people in the maker / hacker / engineer space.
