The author is allowed to have their opinion and express it. On the flip side of the coin; the commenters here are also allowed to have their opinions and express them, however there seems to be much consternation that the commenters here are commenting on the article.

The commenters who dislike the general tone are of course entitled to express that, however, it is baffling to me that the argument is that Author is entitled to their opinion and the commenters who disagree should not comment.

I know this is generally the way of things however, I dislike this as it is mob rule.


There's a difference between expressing an opinion and "encouraging <what I think is good> behaviour in others".
